This card is contradicts itself in countless ways. The man is hanging upside down by one foot but his face and hand are like guiding the directions. The card attracts yet disturbs. Material temptations are conquered on the way to spiritual transformation .

The devil’s card is of man’s own creation, and represents bondage to the material world.Divinatory Interpretation: There is a desire for the material aspect of life.
