Sabyasachi’s collection had complete classic western silhouettes spanning from the 1920s’ to the 80s’ that included ballerina looks complete with tights. Also finding a place in his design and styling were influences of caricature, especially that of Japanese animation and Bengali art. Using a mix of khadi, packing material, cotton, raw silk with screen and Rajasthani printing, everything is usually somber line. The colours used too, though  earthy browns and mud colour had bright purples, yellow to liven up the collection. Collection was inspired by the women of Sunder bans and the colours of the tiger.

Heavy multi coloured beaded necklaces , quirky wayfarer glasses that gave models the ‘catty’ look, classic handbags and shoulder bags. Overall collection was  stunning and creative.
