VJ Balhara used pure cotton with Chanderi, satin, cotton and linen as the base fabrics, shorts, draped pants, skirts, dresses, smocks, layered maxis, cropped jackets, tunics, and shrugs in his collection . succession. Block prints played a rustic symphony with cords, loops, potli buttons, gotta and Patti work which added to the Indo-Western look of the collection. Pleats , flares , stoles , belts were used interestingly. His title for the collection is “Rustic Sophistication”.
