Weather changes and never-ending wedding seasons can overwhelm a bride to be, inducing fatigue, pale skin. Thus, we’ve got you covered with some tips and steps to take when preparing for your big day.
Face:
If you constantly apply makeup, you might need to rest your skin a bit and stick to a facial routine composed of cleansing followed by a morning moisturizer with SPF. Facial treatment is a great idea, just make sure not to do it right before your wedding as it may trigger skin reactions. Have it done at least 2weeks before your wedding day. You neck and décolleté are an extension of the face and are prone to sagging and wrinkles, thus always apply a facial scrub and daily moisturizer
Lips:
Oftentimes, women pay less attention to their lips and this can tip them off to some health problems. To maintain healthy lips, apply lip scrub by The Body Shop using a soft toothbrush and gently brush your lips to remove dead skin. Rinse with water and apply Vaseline lip balm or any medical balm. Repeat this process twice a week.
Body, Legs, and Feet:
You might cover your legs with a long lehenga or gown but that won’t last forever! Make sure to get a full body scrub 2-3days before your wedding day and avoid waxing on the same day. Moreover, do not wax your back as it may generate skin irritation. If necessary bleach the dark areas. Use body lotion, preferably a non-fragranced one line Nivea lotion or Jergens to have a well-moisturized skin without being oily. Good foot care starts with a little tough love. Use a pumice stone or foot rasp daily to scrub away dry, cracked skin on heels and toes. And of course pamper yourself with a professional pedicure before the wedding.
Skin:
Drink lots of water to hydrate your body and have glowing skin.
Wedding Makeup Trail:
It is highly recommended to ask your makeup artist for a makeup trial before your wedding to settle for the best makeup look that complements your style and face.
