Lashes make the eye look more beautiful. Due to stress, makeup and any other changes in the body everyday lashes starts to weaken or become thin. Never go to bed without removing your eye makeup. Massage your eyelids which improve blood flow to the hair follicles meaning stimulating lashes growth and preventing their breakage and thinning. Here are three simple and easy home remedies for healthy eyelashes.
Coconut Milk
It is rich in fats and proteins that nourish the lashes and improve their growth. Dip a cotton swap in cold coconut milk and apply it on your lashes. Leave it for 10min then rinse it off. Repeat this remedy twice a day for a few months and you’ll notice the changes.
Olive Oil
Rich in vitamin E and oleic acid, this oil nourishes your lashes helping them to grow faster. Dip an old mascara brush or a cotton swab in warm olive oil. Before going to bed brush the oil over your lashes just as you apply mascara and leave them overnight. Wash off in the morning with lukewarm water and repeat this remedy daily.
Lemon Peels and Castor Oil
Lemon Peels are rich in vitamins C, B folic acid and other nutrients. Put 1tbsp of dried peels in a container and add to them enough castor oil so the peels get soaked. Allow it to be totally soaked for a couple of weeks. When the mixture is ready, use an old mascara brush and apply the oil on your lashes before going to bed. Leave it overnight and wash off in the morning with lukewarm water. Repeat on daily basis for best results.
